BUKHANGANG PATH
🚴 Bukhangang Bicycle Path
(Namyangju ↔ Chuncheon · often called “Seoul → Chuncheon”)
Distance · 70 km
Riding Time · approx. 4 hours (1-day ride)
Difficulty · Mostly flat, beginner-friendly
The Bukhangang Bicycle Path is one of Korea’s most loved long-distance cycling routes. It branches off from the Hangang bike network east of Seoul and follows the North Han River toward Chuncheon.
The route is mostly flat with gentle rolling sections, making it suitable for riders who want a relaxed but rewarding full-day ride with constant river views.
Chuncheon is also known for its local food. Many riders finish the journey with dakgalbi (spicy stir-fried chicken) or makguksu (cold buckwheat noodles).
✅ Short Option (Recommended for Casual Riders)
If 70 km feels too long, we recommend riding only the Gapyeong / Nami Island section of the route.
- Distance · around 7–15 km
